On the one side: Unfortunately, my garden leave is over – on the other side, cool to start working again.
My first days at Accenture are over now and I have to say: Quite an experience. I met a million people (at least it felt that way and this is what always happens, when you start) and saw a company which is highly oriented and set up to deliver big and complex projects to customers. And from what I understand, very, very successful! One statement came up more than once: “Actually I initially planned to stay for 2-3 years – now I am here for (put any number here bigger than 7) yearsâ€. It is an interesting culture, performance oriented and still doing its best to develop people and to create an atmosphere where you feel being cared. Even the classical rating system with forced distribution is in the process of being replaced.
I understand better in the meantime, what we are going to do and build. The demand for security related consulting is huge – and so are the opportunities for people to help build and grow and therefore to build their career.
Currently we are in the first discussions with experienced people who will help then to grow the practice mainly in Switzerland and Germany. Optimally they have security knowledge and financial services experience. Additionally we are looking for quite some junior people who are interested in the topic and want to grow and learn. There I would not even expect deep security knowledge but a sound education and the willingness to learn.
For experienced security people in the UK and Spain: If you have consulting background, we need you as well.
Again, the potential for personal growth is really big, but so is the expectation and the pace. If you are interested, please get in touch with me (roger.halbheer@accenture.com)
Dear Roger
There’s a small error in the published email address. But smart people will figure it out 😉
Best regards,

Hi Oliver,
thank you. That was kind of the entry test but I nevertheless fixed it 😉
