Trust is a key â€“ even in the underground economy. However, it is hard to establish â€“ even worse in the underground economy. In the real world, we get together and I start to get to know you. I can see you and over time decide whether we can trust each other or not.
In the underground this is much, much harder as the only thing you see of your business partner is the nickname. Everything is connected to this and you have to build a reputation based on the nickname before you can get closer into the criminal’s world.
